Anyway, this little pwad allows easy access to Heretic's built-in 6th episode (dubbed "Fate's Path" by fans). This grants access to three deathmatch oriented maps which are still Single Player capable. Which as follows: E6M1: Raven's Lair E6M2: The Water Shrine E6M3: American's Legacy The third level (E6M3) had to be modified as it lacked an exit. The exit is hidden as not to stick out against the map's basic design. Please let me know if the wad works ok with your copy of ZDoom. This is basically Brutal Doom with none of the gameplay changes... just the blood and gore, nothing else. This is for compatibility with Total Conversions. Another advantage is that it can be used for any IWAD (except Strife and Hacx)... so I guess you could call it very lite brutal doom. Ketchup - Universal Gore Mod T4

Hymn of the Fallen Lords (HYMN) is a Doomworld community project for Heretic. It is a 9 level episode that features custom textures. HYMN should be compatible with most modern Boom and ZDoom related ports, as well as The Doomsday Engine, but has an emphasis on 'vanilla' style mapping. Theres a seperate wad for those who only want the new textures in a separate download (which will be updated from time to time). HYMN

Heretic: Legions is a monster randomizer for Heretic that uses no new graphics. Keep in mind, this doesn't work with Order & Chaos as of now, but I may make make a version that combines the two if there's enough interest. Legions will also be featured in WildWeasel's Heretic StyleMod, so I want to get this out in order to see what should be changed to make this monster set as good as possible. Heretic: Legions

Have you even come across an unavoidable large ammo pickup in a narrow hallway or right in front of a switch, and were forced to pick it up, even though you were only a few rounds short of maxed out? Ever kicked yourself later for having done that when you came face-to-face with some mean S.O.B that wanted to eat your face off, and you just didn't have enough ammo? With Smart Scavenger, those large pickups now break down into smaller pickups if you have more ammo than the amount that the pickup would normally refill, leaving the odd clip, handful of shells, rocket or cell on the ground to pick up when you need it. Smart Scavenger also comes in versions for Heretic, FreeDoom Phase 1 & 2 and Strife as of v3.2. As of v3, now has Support for Doom Roguelike Arsenal and Brutal Doom: Sperglord Edition. Ammo and Medikits no longer 'warp' to the player's position. Medikits no longer break open when player health is >=100. Smart Scavenger v3.2

What they are, I'll leave the surprise up to you - but feel free to take a peek at the screenshots before playing this 5-level adventure! I'm just looking for constructive criticism and playtesting before this becomes an IDgames entry. STILL TO-DO (once I have feedback): - Fix the TitlePic error (why doesn't it show?) - Level 5's "rising watertable puzzle" in Lightning Wizard's section (nothing there yet) - ExArch death frames (he replaces the Skullwizard as a more suitable enemy, as well as a' Surprise Wizard' whose also not as overpowered) - End pic and text - Deathmatch starts and accomodation (maybe) - Other balance issues found by you, the testersDESPAIR

Your man is a mysterious and solitary individual known by all as "The Newcomer", who fled to Parthoris after years of travels and perils to finally find a peaceful setting to rest. Unfortunately, after only a few years of apparent calm, things start to go wrong - a sinister plague starts decimating the population of Parthoris, and everything seems to turn hopeless and doomed - save for a relatively small congregation of sombre, dark-dressed, cloaked individuals that reunite under a secret congregation labeled as 'The Serpent Cult'. In a distant epoch, this land had already been saved by a legendary elven hero... Yet it seems that those forces that were cast away have now returned, and gathered enough followers to claim their revenge... Chaos Uprising

NecroDoom is a gameplay mod featuring the Necrosuit, a heavy-weapons exoskeleton capable of delivering large doses of whoopass to anything that moves (or doesn't move, for that matter). It's mostly just a showoff mod for the recently-ripped Necrodome weapons, but I got a bit carried away and implemented a few neat things that should hopefully make for an interesting gameplay experience. Full list o' Features: 6 new weapons, ranging from twin chainguns to rocket pods. Brand-new (sorta) military hardware, including the crowd-pleasing Napalm Bomb Revolutionary (not really) dismount system -- enter/exit the Necrosuit at will (and blow it up if you so desire!) By The Drake Raider. Just threw together a mod I wanted to make, that made Heretic faster paced. So far I've changed every enemy and weapon found in the first episode. Uploading it because I figured other people might like it. Now the full second episode has new monster behaviour, with some new weapon changes. I have two weapons left to do (Pheonix Rod, Firemace), and two enemies (Ophidian, D'Sparil.)Fast Heretic v2

-If you switch away from the Warwand with the blunt end out, then switch back, the wand will have the gem end facing forward. -In a recent change to G/ZDoom, var ints no longer pass to actors through inheritance, so the mod caused an error when starting up in newer dev versions. -Pressing and holding altfire with the Dragonclaw while the scope altfire is selected no longer causes the claws to flicker. -Red bolts for Warbow dissipate after they travel a certain distance. -Digits for health & stamina readout in HUD change color as they decrease. -Ash Gargoyles properly return to their See state after attacking. -Vilegoyle gibs are now translated correctly. -The secret level for each episode now has an all-new entrance text. -A puff used by the Alchemace no longer encounters an invalid state. -Bar hud correctly displays primary & secondary ammo counts. -Previously, Warlocks were only using their earth spike magic if the target was within 256 units of the caster, when it should have been t
